（Full-time） Dental assistant job at Fairhope Bay Dental

Assist dentist chairside during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments, ensuring compliance with infection control standards.
Take and develop dental radiographs as necessary.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and medical histories.
Support scheduling and patient record management in collaboration with front office staff.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive dental health.
Operate dental imaging equipment, including 3D scanners and other advanced technology.
Assist with endodontic procedures, prioritizing patient comfort and safety throughout.

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekends off

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical dental setting.
Solid knowledge of general dentistry procedures and practices.
Familiarity with medical coding and documentation.
Proficiency in using dental technology such as 3D scanners and imaging equipment.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate in a team.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic work environment.
Fluency in Spanish is required.

Experience with endodontic procedures.
Previous experience in a fast-paced dental clinic environment.
