（Full-time） Dental assistant job position at The Opal Dental Co

Assist the dentist chairside during examinations, fillings, crowns, extractions, and other procedures.
Prepare patients by reviewing health history, ensuring comfort, and setting up treatment rooms.
Take and develop dental x-rays if certified.
Educate patients on post-operative care, oral hygiene, and scheduling follow-ups.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories adhering to OSHA and infection control standards.
Manage clinical inventory and submit reorder requests to maintain adequate supplies.
Accurately document treatment notes using electronic record systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Open Dental.
Support administrative tasks including updating patient records and assisting with scheduling or insurance documentation when needed.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic safety protocols.
Maintain CPR, x-ray certification, and other relevant credentials.

Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday, Saturday, Sunday: Closed
Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Certified Dental Assistant or equivalent on-the-job experience.
Valid CPR certification.
Knowledge of dental assisting procedures, terminology, and infection control.
Experience with dental software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Open Dental.
Ability to multitask efficiently and maintain patient comfort during treatments.
Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

1–2 years of dental assisting experience.
Wisconsin dental x-ray certification.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Familiarity with four-handed dentistry and dental extractions.
