Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures to ensure patient comfort and efficient workflow
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms following strict hygiene protocols
Take and develop dental X-rays with attention to accuracy and patient safety
Provide clear postoperative oral care instructions to patients
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dental office
Perform general office duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and answering phones

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy relevant to dental care
Familiarity with dental imaging techniques and infection control protocols
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing multiple tasks
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safety standards

Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with knowledge of general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is highly desirable.
Familiarity with medical terminology, knowledge of anatomy, and aseptic techniques is essential.
Ability to perform chairside assisting effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.
Experience with medical imaging technologies, such as 3D scanners, is a plus.
Strong understanding of infection control practices within a dental setting.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
