Title	Dental assistant
Job Description	Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. Take and process dental X-rays while adhering to all safety protocols. Record patient medical history, vital signs, and other information in electronic health records (EHR). Manage patient flow and provide chairside assistance for procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain strict confidentiality of patient records. Perform sterilization of instruments and adhere to healthcare infection prevention and control standards. Utilize a 3D scanner for imaging when necessary. Assist with administrative tasks like medical scheduling and managing patient records.
Salary Range	【Full-time】 $33,100.00 〜 $42,300.00 /year
Salary Details	- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule	Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Wednesday & Thursday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM The office is closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Requirements	Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years) At least 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting. Strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members. Proficiency in patient charting and managing electronic health records. Knowledge of dental sterilization and disinfection procedures. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Preferences	Dentrix Eaglesoft 3-5 years of dental assistant experience. Experience with pediatric dentistry and working with children. Proficiency in using Dentrix or Eaglesoft EMR systems. Experience with medical coding and billing.
