（Full-time） Dental assistant job position at OAKDALE KIDS DENTIST

Assist dentists and orthodontists during patient procedures to ensure efficient and high-quality treatment
Prepare patients for dental treatments, especially children, making them feel comfortable and cared for
Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment before and after procedures
Manage patient records and update treatment documentation accurately using Eaglesoft software (preferred)
Provide chairside assistance, anticipating needs of the dentist and patient during procedures
Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in the clinical environment
Communicate effectively with patients and parents, addressing concerns and explaining procedures as needed
Support the team with daily operational tasks to maintain smooth office functioning

Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekends: Closed

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience or training as a Dental Assistant preferred, but entry-level candidates who demonstrate eagerness to learn are welcome
Comfortable working with children and fostering a positive dental experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an outgoing personality
Basic computer skills; familiarity with Eaglesoft software is a plus
Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred but not required

Prior orthodontic assisting experience a plus
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) licenses are not required
