Assist dentists during procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dental treatments.
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms with strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Take, process, and develop dental X-rays and operate 3D scanners as needed; ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance (HIPAA).
Manage patient records and documentation using EMR systems, specifically Open Dental software.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques effectively to support clinical procedures.
Record and monitor patient vital signs and contribute to accurate medical documentation and history reviews.
Educate patients on postoperative care instructions and general oral hygiene tips.
Maintain dental supply inventories and collaborate with office staff for ordering and stock management.
Work closely with the dental receptionist to coordinate patient scheduling and enhance the overall patient experience.

Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:45 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental clinic or similar healthcare environment.
Strong knowledge of dental and medical terminology, dental anatomy, and clinical procedures.
Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR), with preference given to experience in Open Dental software.
Skilled in four-handed dentistry and dental imaging technologies, including 3D scanning and X-ray operation.
Knowledge and application of infection control standards and aseptic techniques.
Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail in documentation.
CPR Certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Mid-level experience in dental assisting.
Experience with medical documentation review and compliance.
Previous knowledge of patient interaction best practices in a dental setting.
