Drakes Creek Dental is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team full-time. You will play an integral role in supporting clinical operations and elevating patient experiences, working Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 6 PM with shortened shifts on Friday. Title	Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Job Description	Assist dentists chairside during procedures, ensuring efficient and smooth workflow Perform expanded functions duties as an EFDA, including taking impressions, placing and carving restorations, and other delegated operative tasks Monitor patient sedation and vital signs when applicable Maintain clinical and instrument sterilization in accordance with infection control protocols Manage inventory control and ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and well-stocked Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service to maintain a positive office atmosphere Utilize Open Dental software to document procedures and patient information (preferred, but not mandatory) Participate actively in continuing education and professional development programs
Salary Range	【Full-time】 $25.00 〜 $31.00 /hour

Requirements	Cardiopulmonary resuscitation Basic life support Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years) Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience within a clinical setting EFDA Certification required Certified Dental Assistant credential preferred Current CPR and AED certifications Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and assisting procedures Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferences	Dentrix Open Dental Eaglesoft Familiarity with Open Dental practice management software Experience with patient sedation monitoring Demonstrated commitment to patient comfort and care
