（Full-time） Expanded Functions Dental Assistant job at Drakes Creek Dental

Assist dentists chairside during procedures, ensuring efficient and smooth workflow
Perform expanded functions duties as an EFDA, including taking impressions, placing and carving restorations, and other delegated operative tasks
Monitor patient sedation and vital signs when applicable
Maintain clinical and instrument sterilization in accordance with infection control protocols
Manage inventory control and ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and well-stocked
Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service to maintain a positive office atmosphere
Utilize Open Dental software to document procedures and patient information (preferred, but not mandatory)
Participate actively in continuing education and professional development programs

Monday: 8 AM – 2 PM
Tuesday to Thursday: 8 AM – 6 PM
Friday: 8 AM – 2 PM
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience within a clinical setting
EFDA Certification required
Certified Dental Assistant credential preferred
Current CPR and AED certifications
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and assisting procedures
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with Open Dental practice management software
Experience with patient sedation monitoring
Demonstrated commitment to patient comfort and care
