Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and equipment.
Take and develop X-rays ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms.
Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene techniques and post-care instructions.
Schedule patient appointments and efficiently manage patient flow to maximize office productivity.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for patient documentation and scheduling.

Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday, Half-day
Saturday, Sunday: Closed

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or bench experience preferred, especially in a family or pediatric dentistry setting.
Solid understanding of dental terminology, assisting protocols, and dental equipment.
Proficient in taking dental X-rays and knowledge of appropriate safety measures.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with excellent attention to detail.

Training or certification as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) is an advantage.
Experience using dental practice management software (Eaglesoft or Dentrix) is a plus.
