Job Description:
We’re seeking an experienced Dental Assistant (3+ years) who combines technical expertise with a positive, friendly attitude. You must be confident working without supervision, capable of taking impressions, scanning for crowns and appliances, maintaining accurate patient records, assisting the doctor with all procedures, managing equipment, and demonstrating excellent time management skills. Being a true team player who proactively looks for things to do, helps hygiene, answers phones, and schedules appointments as needed is essential. X-ray certification and OSHA knowledge are required.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude at all times
Work independently with minimal supervision
Assist the doctor with all dental procedures
Accurately take impressions and scan for crowns and dental appliances
Chart patient dental history and treatment plans precisely
Use ADA codes correctly to support efficient billing and insurance processes
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe environment
Take diagnostic digital X-rays, including CBCT scans (X-ray certification required)
Maintain and sterilize dental equipment to ensure safety and functionality
Manage time effectively to support smooth office workflow
Proactively look for ways to assist the team and jump in wherever help is needed
Assist the hygiene team as needed
Answer phones and schedule patient appointments when required
Maintain organized and detailed patient records
Qualifications:

3+ years of dental assisting experience
Proficient in dental charting, treatment planning, and ADA coding
OSHA regulations knowledge and compliance
X-ray certification required
Skilled in taking impressions and digital scanning for crowns/appliances
Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care
Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
True team player who is motivated to jump in and help wherever needed
Hard worker with a positive, can-do attitude
