（Full-time） Dental assistant job position at Premier Dentistry of Sarasota PLC

Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all dental equipment is ready for procedures

Assist dentists during exams and treatments (chairside suctioning, instrument passing, patient comfort)

Take and process dental X-rays (bitewing, periapical) while following strict safety protocols

Perform dental impressions, temporary crown placements, and other supportive tasks

Maintain infection control standards (autoclaving, ultrasonic cleaning, surface disinfection)

Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene best practices

Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Weekends: Closed

1+ years of dental assisting experience (or completion of an accredited dental assisting program)

Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization protocols

Strong communication and interpersonal skills – friendly, professional, and patient-focused

Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain)

Experience with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)

Familiarity with restorative and cosmetic dentistry procedures

CPR certification
