（Full-time） Expanded Functions Dental Assistant job position at Digital Dentistry of Sarasota

Clinical Support:

Assist the dentist with restorative procedures, including crown/bridge prep.

Fabricate high-quality temporary crowns/bridges and pack cord.

Take digital X-rays and manage dental imaging.

Monitor and record vital signs as needed.

Operational Excellence:

Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols.

Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure equipment maintenance.

Keep the practice OSHA-compliant and organized.

Patient Care:

Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.

Build rapport with patients through compassionate communication.

Update and maintain accurate patient records (Eaglesoft experience a plus).

Lab Coordination:

Prepare lab cases, write scripts, and assist with shade selection.

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Tuesday: 8:00 AM–3:30 PM (no break)

Friday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM (as needed for maintenance)

Average Hours: 32–36/week

Active EFDA Certification (Florida).

2+ years of dental assisting experience, including chairside support.

Proficiency in sterilization, inventory management, and OSHA compliance.

Ability to fabricate temporaries and pack cord with precision.

Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software.

Knowledge of digital X-rays and dental equipment maintenance.

Team player with a proactive, self-starter attitude.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
