Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Perform basic dental procedures such as taking x-rays, impressions, and applying fluoride treatments.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the office.
Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix for record keeping and billing purposes.
Uphold aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Expected hours: 32 per week

Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
