Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including examinations, cleanings, treatments, and pediatric dental care
Prepare, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with strict safety standards
Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans as needed, ensuring precision and patient comfort
Accurately record patient medical histories, vital signs, and treatment details
Maintain patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software, adhering to HIPAA regulations
Educate patients and families on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
Support front desk operations by scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow with the receptionist
Create a welcoming and supportive environment, especially for pediatric patients, facilitating child-specific dental procedures
Stay current with industry practices and continually develop skills to provide excellent patient care

Valid Dental X-Ray Certification is required
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, procedures, and medical imaging techniques
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
Commitment to patient confidentiality and strict adherence to HIPAA standards
Willingness to learn and adapt to new dental technologies and procedures

Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred
Previous experience in general dentistry and pediatric dental support is a plus
