Assist the dentist chairside during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and efficient workflow.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment for patient visits.
Take and develop dental X-rays in compliance with safety standards.
Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming dental models and fabricating temporary crowns.
Provide chairside assistance including passing instruments, suctioning, and tissue retraction during procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and provide post-operative care instructions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment documentation.
Schedule appointments and help manage patient flow to optimize office efficiency.
Adhere strictly to infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.

Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Friday: Closed
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

Current dental assisting certification or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
Knowledge of dental anatomy, aseptic technique, and infection control standards.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy.
Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
Proficient in dental X-ray procedures and familiar with CAD/CAM technology (a plus).
Familiarity with dental software systems, such as Epic, is preferred.
