Title	Orthodontic Assistant
Job Description	Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures including braces placement, removal, and appliance fittings Perform digital scanning, impressions, and maintain accurate patient records Sterilize and maintain orthodontic instruments and treatment areas following infection control protocols Communicate effectively with patients, parents, and team members to ensure clear understanding of treatment plans and appointments Assist in administrative duties as needed, including scheduling and patient follow-up Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of dental office procedures to support efficient workflow Maintain CPR and AED certification and follow safety procedures at all times Collaborate with the orthodontic team to provide a seamless, positive patient experience
Salary Range	【Full-time】 $33,900.00 〜 $47,100.00 /year
Salary Details	- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
Shift & Schedule	Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Requirements	Cardiopulmonary resuscitation Basic life support Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant Certified Orthodontic Assistant Infection Control License Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years) Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certificate required CPR and AED certifications required Orthodontic assisting experience mandatory Strong communication and customer service skills Knowledge of infection control and HIPAA compliance Ability to work effectively as part of a team Must reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area Entry-level candidates with orthodontic experience may be considered
