（Full-time） Dental assistant job at Janus Dentistry

Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, including preparation and sterilization of instruments and equipment
Support dentists in patient care, ensuring comfort and safety throughout treatments
Perform dental radiography as needed following safety protocols
Utilize Open Dental software for patient documentation, appointment scheduling, and record management
Assist in administrative tasks such as patient intake, insurance verification, and documentation review
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment
Communicate effectively with patients and team members, including Spanish-speaking patients where applicable
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
Participate in continuing education to maintain certifications and improve clinical skills

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday by appointment (as needed)
8-hour shifts

Minimum of 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification required
Proficiency with Open Dental software
Experience in chairside assisting and patient care
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Nitrous Oxide Certification preferred
Strong communication skills; Spanish language skills preferred
Administrative and management experience a plus
