Pediatric Dental Assistant/ Treatment Coordinator
We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Pediatric Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic team for 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday).
In this vital role, you’ll serve as a bridge between our clinical and administrative teams, ensuring our pediatric patients (and their parents) have a smooth, supportive experience from check-in to treatment completion.
Duties
As a Pediatric Treatment Coordinator your responsibilities will include:
• Present and explain pediatric dental treatment plans clearly and confidently.
• Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries at the front desk when needed
• Ensure efficient patient flow and accurate documentation.
• Assisting the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of young patients.
• Preparing treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with our dental team to ensure top-notch care.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Dental assistant experience in pediatrics required.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
• Comfortable with treatment planning and presenting financials. And the ability to verify insurance, understand benefits and explain financial responsibilities.
• Friendly, empathetic, and professional demeanor
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Team player with a passion for helping children fell at ease
