Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized environment. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately in medical documentation.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
Maintain accurate medical records and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Support various dental specialties including Prosthodontics, Pediatrics, Periodontics, and General Dentistry.

Work Hours: Monday, Tuesday 7:45-6:15 Wednesday 7:45-5:30 Thursday 7:45-4:30
Breaks: 60- Minute meal break (not counted as work hours)
Weekend Work: ! Saturday a month 7:45-2:30
