（Full-time） Orthodontic Dental Assistant job position at Benko Orthodontics

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Assist the orthodontist chairside during wire changes, bracket placement, bonding, and debonding procedures

Take accurate alginate or digital impressions for study models, appliances, and Invisalign cases

Place and remove orthodontic separators, archwires, and ligatures as directed

Provide clear home care instructions on elastics, hygiene with braces, retainers, etc.

Take and process digital X-rays and intraoral photos

Set up and break down operatories following sterilization and infection control protocols

Maintain patient flow and help keep the schedule running smoothly throughout the day

Communicate professionally with patients and parents about treatment updates and appointment needs

Track inventory of orthodontic supplies and communicate ordering needs

Tuesday 10:30am-7:00pm
Wednesday 7:30am-5:30pm
Thursday and Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Completion of a Dental Assisting program or relevant on-the-job experience

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential (or actively working toward certification)

Open to entry-level applicants — less than 1 year of experience is welcome

Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team-first mindset

Strong communication skills and comfort working with patients of all ages
