（Full-time） Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) job at North Frisco Dental and Orthodontics

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare patients for dental procedures by ensuring comfort and explaining what to expect during their visit.
• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments.
• Sterilize dental instruments and prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist and ensure all images are of diagnostic quality.
•Update patient records with information about treatments performed, procedures scheduled, and any concerns raised by patients.
• Provide patients with post-treatment care instructions and guidance on oral hygiene and preventive practices.
• Prepare and mix dental materials such as fillings, impressions, and bonding agents as needed for procedures.
• Manage appointment scheduling, patient communications, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, adhering to all infection control protocols.

• Monday to Saturday

What We’re Looking For:

Experience with Open Dental (or a willingness to learn if you haven’t used this PMS).
Proficiency in digital scans (iTero or similar systems).
Skills in coronal polishing, preparing temporary restorations, and assisting in oral surgery.
At least 2 years of experience
