（Full-time） Dental assistant job at Family orthodontic Center

What You’ll Do:
• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures to ensure smooth operations and patient comfort.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a sterile environment to support patient care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments following all regulations to ensure patient safety.
• Take and develop dental x-rays to assist with diagnoses.
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during examinations and procedures.
• Record patient vital signs and assist with patient management.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide instructions for aftercare.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Perform basic dental laboratory procedures as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
• X-ray certification required.

• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
• Familiarity with medical coding and documentation systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
