（Full-time） (Medical or Dental Assistant) job position at South Sound Oral Medicine

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical or Dental Assistant at SOUTH SOUND ORAL MEDICINE located in Federal Way, WA. The Medical/Dental Assistant will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting with medical procedures, maintaining medical records, and performing administrative tasks in a medical office setting.


Even though Oral Medicine is a dental specialty, we use the medical biopsychosocial model and medical EMR to record patient encounters, and we are contracted with medical rather than dental insurance companies.


The Dental/Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting with clinical procedures, maintaining clinical records, and performing administrative tasks in a healthcare practice setting.

8 am to 2 pm Thursdays

• Medical/Dental Assisting, Medical Terminology, and Patient Care skills
• Experience working in a medical office
• Knowledge of medical records management
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Certification in Medical/Dental Assisting is preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records systems is a plus
