（Part-time） Dental assistant job at San Clemente Oral & Facial Surgery

San Clemente Oral & Facial Surgery is seeking a dedicated and personable Dental Assistant to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, coordinating treatment plans, handling patient inquiries, and managing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.

- Full-time position, 32 hours per week
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
- 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in dental administration is a plus

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a professional and friendly demeanor

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and patient care

- Ability to maintain a calm and welcoming environment for patients and staff alike

- Experience with oral and facial surgery practices
- Knowledge of insurance billing and coding
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental office or similar healthcare setting is a plus
- Proficiency in dental software (such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
