Dental assistant (Full-Time) job position at The Lodi Dentist

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Examination and Doctor Support:
Take impressions, x-rays, and chart notes accurately during patient exams and treatments.
Oversee zoom bleaching and place buttons for Invisalign.
Anticipate the needs of the doctor, ensuring a seamless, prepared workflow.
Use creativity and empathy to ease anxious or timid patients, helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit.

Office and Patient Management:
Oversee daily schedules, ensuring a smooth patient flow and minimizing wait times.
Effectively manage supply inventory and making timely orders.
Assist with front-office tasks, including gathering consent forms and understanding insurance eligibility.
Support sterilization and treatment room maintenance to ensure a safe and organized environment.
Patient Education and Aftercare:
Promote dental health education and provide aftercare instructions to patients, parents, and guardians.
Stay up-to-date with all compliance, safety, and licensure requirements to maintain a high standard of care.

3 to 4 days a week, 7:45 am until 5:00 pm (Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays required, can possibly offer more hours).

Applicable state DA certifications and licenses. X-Ray certificate.
RDA License
Direct patient care experience of 5 years or more.

X-Ray Certificate and at least one year of experience.
