Job Description:
Our busy oral surgery department is seeking a skilled and dedicated Oral Surgery Assistant to join our expert team. In this role, you will support our oral surgeon in all aspects of surgical procedures, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and a smooth workflow. This position begins on a trial basis, with the opportunity for a pay increase based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Support:

Assist the oral surgeon during procedures such as extractions, implant placements, and other oral surgeries.
Set up and break down the surgical suite, ensuring all instruments and supplies are properly sterilized and prepared.

Patient Care:

Support pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including educating patients on proper aftercare and monitoring their recovery.
Take and process digital X-rays as required to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.

Administrative Tasks:

Maintain accurate patient records and assist in scheduling follow-up appointments.
Support daily administrative tasks related to the oral surgery schedule and inventory management.

Compliance & Safety:

Adhere to strict infection control and sterilization protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail in every aspect of the role.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an oral surgery or dental assisting role.
