Our dynamic dental practice is looking for two full-time Expanded Function Dental Assistants (EFDAs) to join our team. As an EFDA, you will perform all the duties of a dental assistant and take on additional advanced tasks under the supervision of our dentist. This role is vital in ensuring the highest level of patient care and clinical efficiency in our practice.

Job Description	The Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) will perform all the duties of a dental assistant, plus additional tasks.  EFDAs work under the supervision of a dentist.  Additional duties: Placing and carving composite and amalgam restorations  * Placing sealants  * Coronal polishing  * Applying fluoride  * Taking final impressions for permanent indirect restorations  * Adjusting and cementing permanent indirect restorations  * Placing and contouring fillings  * Providing preventive prophylaxis cleanings  * Working with hygienists on periodontal maintenance  * Providing oral hygiene instructions Apply Today! Requirements	Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant Certification: Must be a Registered or Certified Dental Assistant with expanded function training.
Preferences	Skills: Strong technical skills in dental procedures, including composite restorations and taking impressions. Ability to perform advanced tasks such as adjusting and cementing permanent restorations. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to patient care. Additional: Must be able to work under the supervision of a dentist and follow strict infection control protocols.
