（Part-time） Dental assistant job at Dr. Bradley S. Matthew, DDS

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including taking and developing dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following infection control protocols.
- Ensure patients are comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.
- Provide postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
- Manage dental supply inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Ensure all dental equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
- Support the front office staff as needed with scheduling and patient management.
- Assist with billing and insurance processing, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims.
- Stay current with dental assisting best practices and continuing education.

Office's Schedule:

- Monday & Wednesday: 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM
- Tuesday & Thursday: 7:15 AM - 4:15 PM

- Valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification.
- X-Ray Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental practice, preferably.

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program is preferred.
- Experience in a dental practice is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in dental software and technology.
- Experience with billing and insurance processing is an advantage.
- A positive and professional demeanor with a strong work ethic.
