（Part-time） Bilingual (Spanish) Dental Assistant job at Smile Unto Him

Smile Unto Him (SUH) cares for the underserved and needy in a modern & well equipped dental clinic. SUH strives Execellence in care for the patients with comfortable chair-side manner and a gentle approach. Comprehensive dental care includes but not limited to cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns and dentures; cosmetic, implant & orthodontic procedures are not offered. Appointments are scheduled according to volunteer dental providers availability.

Smile Unto Him is aware of the correlation between poverty, inaccessibility to dental care, and poor health outcomes. As an organizational goal, SUH is committed to providing the low-income and uninsured in Riverside County with access to free, high-quality dental services to improve their oral health and well-being.

As a Dental Assistant at Smile Unto Him, you will strongly identify and support the mission and be expected to assist in the following:
- Prepare patients for procedures ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist as needed
- Supply inventory and ordering
- Keeping OSHA Compliance throughout office, including training other staff members with protocols
- Someone capable of handling phone calls and scheduling appointments.

Open Tuesday-Friday 8am-4pm unless evening provider is scheduled or other scheduling conflict.
Tuesday-Friday evening when provider is scheduled.
Saturday when provider is scheduled.
All providers are volunteers who come when they are available. This creates a dynamic schedule with at least 20 hours weekly.
 2-3 days a week - schedule will vary depending on Dentist and Hygienist availability
