Full-Time Expanded Function Dental Assistant (Full-Time) job at Frederick Dental

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our dedicated team full-time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, a passion for patient care, and expertise in utilizing Dentrix software to support efficient and accurate treatment delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist in all expanded function procedures, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.
Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling, patient records, and treatment planning.
Work as a team player, contributing to a positive and efficient clinic environment.
Prepare treatment rooms with equipment sterilized and ready to go.
Welcome patients, provide chairside assistance, and ensure patient comfort.
Assist the dentist during procedures, and anticipate needs, instruments, and materials. Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records.
Help maintain a clean and organized dental environment.

EFDA certification required

At least 3 years of dental assisting experience.

Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring patient comfort. Proficiency in digital X-rays and Dentrix software.
