Join Spectrum Healthcare Resources in providing exceptional care to our nation's military personnel and their families. We're seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Bremerton Naval Hospital in Bremerton, Washington.
Job Details:
Full Time: Monday through Friday
No weekends or on-call shifts
Malpractice Insurance Coverage
Competitive Compensation: Estimated annual income of $129,800 to $135,200
For those committing to at least 40 hours per week, we offer an outstanding comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan, health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, LTD, STD, FSA, group term life insurance, and employee assistance program.
Patient care primarily involves Veterans and spouses aged 50-60, with only 5-10 active duty members seen per week. You'll encounter minimal well and sick visits for children and adolescents, supported by excellent department management and staff.
Job Requirements:
BLS and ACLS certification
Any active state license
Master's of Science in Nursing
National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP)
1 year of experience within the last 2 years
General Duties:
Maintain productivity comparable to peers.
Participate in peer review and performance improvement activities.
Practice aseptic techniques and comply with infection control guidelines.
Demonstrate awareness and application of safety procedures.
Respond efficiently in emergency situations, informing appropriate personnel and documenting events.
Apply legal awareness in patient care, managing situations with reduced risk.
Participate in the Family Advocacy Program as directed.
Exercise awareness of patient and significant others' rights.
Document patient care accurately and timely.
Operate and manipulate automated systems, participate in clinical staff Performance Improvement and Risk Management functions.
Maintain documentation of all treatment provided in accordance with clinic directives.
