Description

ZoomCare is seeking a Part TimeUrgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team! Our ZoomCare Urgent Care Providers are responsible for delivering top-notch urgent care services and superior customer service to all patients, including Medicare beneficiaries, through the ZoomCare model. You will diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions and help ensure our patients receive timely and effective care.

SCHEDULE

  • Work 24 hours per week. Friday and Saturday 8am - 8pm.
  • No admin days and no on call time.
  • No staying late to work through a waiting room full of patients.

COMPENSATION

  • Hourly Pay Rate: $73.00 - $82.00 per hour
  • Relocation Assistance Eligible up to $5,000

  • Deliver a consistent and high quality ZoomCare experience to all patients using ZoomCare tools and methodologies.
  • Provide excellent episodic care in a quick-paced, focused environment (e.g., sinusitis, UTI, pneumonia).
  • Perform routine procedures (e.g., suturing, digital blocks, vaccinations, splinting, foreign body removal, etc).
  • Provide chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, asthma).
  • Provide preventive care including focused adult wellness examinations.
  • Provide a complete visit where labs and prescriptions are provided on-site (when medically appropriate) in a one-stop experience for the patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues about clinical diagnosis, treatment and disposition planning.
  • Adapt practice style to meet the needs of the patient.
  • Display a high degree of compassion and caring, never turning away a patient.
  • Provide comprehensive urgent care services to Medicare beneficiaries, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Complete charts based on established protocols.
  • Perform wet reads of x-ray results with proficiency.
  • Occasionally manage and interpret basic electrocardiogram (EKG) results.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies with certification by the NCCPA or Masters of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner
  • 1+ year of experience practicing in urgent care or emergency medicine.
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from a recognized and reputable organization (e.g., American Heart Association, Red Cross) or the ability to obtain one within 1 month of hire.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints.
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare or complete Medicare credentialing requirements prior to hire.
  • Must be able to demonstrate 2000 hours of work experience at the time of job offer.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and reaching overhead.
  • Occasional crouching, kneeling, and bending.
  • Prolonged periods of standing/sitting and working at a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at time.
  • Ability to move to a different clinic location based on business needs.
  • Patient volume may often require more than your scheduled hours per week or work outside of regular business hours to complete essential duties of this job.
  • Fit tested for an N-95 mask, must be clean shaven where the respirator seals to the face for fit testing or when wearing the respirator.
  • Must wear a mask as needed.
